Preplanning Has Many Advantages

On July 1st, 2010, the Ontario government will implement the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST). This new tax will increase the cost of almost everything you purchase by 8% including funeral services.

We felt it is important to inform you that Ontario funeral homes have arranged an exemption for funerals that have been prearranged and prepaid by this date.

If you have been considering preplanning your funeral, now is the time to make your arrangements to avoid paying an additional 8% tax.
