Obituary of Mary Teresa Charbonneau

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Special Aunt, and friend, Mary Teresa Charbonneau. Mary has begun her spiritual journey to join the love of her life, her husband of 28 years Pat (1977), her daughter Joan (1950), and her son Louis (1989). Left with countless happy memories are her children Annette, Elaine (David Mulvihill), Yvonne (Don Pennock) and Patrick (Michelle Laflamme). She was always interested in the lives of her much loved grandchildren Kevin Pennock (Shannon Eady), Josh Pennock (Nicole Fraser), Amanda (Kyle Epp), Owen Mulvihill (Kristy), Erin (Matt Nguyen), Alexa Charbonneau (Brad Burrows), Daniel Charbonneau, and Shannon Charbonneau, who have many happy memories of numerous family gatherings at Grandma Mary's or of just stopping by to enjoy her company and witty sense of humour. She dearly loved her great grandchildren Dawson (Josh), Makayla, Andrew & Carson (Amanda), Rylee & Chloe (Owen), and Murray (Erin), who will remember Great Grandma for having the best toys and treats, and always wanting them to sit at the big table for family gatherings. Mary was born in Westport, Ontario, the youngest daughter of Irwin and Mary Ann Merkley. She was predeceased by her brothers Bill, Francis, Bernie, James and Bobby, her sisters Peggy, Ellen Mary, and Gertie, and many brother and sister in laws Visitations at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle Street South, Renfrew, Ontario, Thursday: 2 pm – 4 pm and 7pm – 9 pm, and after 9 a.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at The Church of the Most Precious Blood, Mill Street, Calabogie, Ontario at 11 am on Friday July 24, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital (who provided such great care to our Mom) would be appreciated. Online condolences-donations: www.gouletfuneralhome.com
